Command Permissions

This guide shows you how to edit your Discord bot's default permissions. Learn how to make your own command permissions in just a few easy steps!

By default, certain commands are limited to members with specific Discord permissions. For example, the /ban command can only be used by members with the "Ban Members" permission.

  1. Go to your Discord Server Settings -> Integrations -> Manage your bot

  1. On this page, you can edit the permissions of individual commands.

  1. Click a command to start editing its permissions.

  1. You can limit command usage to certain roles, members, or channels.
